Object Name lamp
Description Miner's Lamp - Type used prior to Carbide lamps. The lamp has a hook by which it may be attached to a miner's helmet/hat or a rock face. The Lamp itself is kettle-like in shape with a taper cylinder to hold the fuel and a spout into which a wick was inserted and ignited to provide light. The lamp has a hinged cover on top.
