Description |
Trophy is made of wood with metalic coloured plastic parts attached, and small metal plates with the winners names etched in them mounted to all three wooden tiers that make up the base of the trophy. The main plate attached to the front of the trophy has "C. "KEKE" MORTSON SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD" etched into the metal. Two small trophy replicas of about 6cm high and 5 cm wide flank either side of the base attachment. The riser of the trophy is narrow at the base and wider at the ornament pedestal end. The panel on the front of the riser is gold in colour with two columns going the full height of the riser, and the pattern in the centre of the panel is a design of triangular shapes and half circles. The statuette or ornament on top is of a winged woman holding a torch above her head. The plates have the names of the students who won the award etched on them the years that the school was open from 1972-2007.
